“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart …”
– (Jeremiah 1:5)
Our Colorado House Education Committee passed HB26-1335 – Abortion Medication Access on College Campuses last week by a vote of eight Democrats in favor and five Republicans opposed. The bill will now be heard on the House floor before moving to the Senate.
Despite strong evidence presented regarding the adverse effects of abortion pills, along with serious concerns about the financial burden on colleges, committee members chose to move the bill forward, ignoring the risks and the potential harms to women.
