It’s Christmas Day! What a wonderful time to reflect on the birth of our Savior and God’s goodness. Scripture tells us that, “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us).”

And that is the thought I’d like to leave with you today. God is near.

I know 2020 was a tough year for many, but we must never equate adversity with the absence of God.

So, I lift up a prayer for you today wherever you are, whatever situation you are going through, that you may experience Immanuel, God with you.
