We’re just days away from a critical election. Are you ready?
On November 3, our country will elect 435 U.S. House Representatives, 35 U.S. Senators, 6,139 state legislators across 88 state legislative chambers, 36 governors, and thousands of more state and local positions. The stakes are high. With Democratic Socialists staking claims on the ballot, radical abortion measures sweeping the country, and control of both houses of Congress up for grabs, every vote is important in deciding the future of our country.
Here are the most important things to know before heading to the ballot box in Alabama:
Last Day to Hand-Deliver an Absentee Ballot: If you already obtained an absentee ballot by October 29, it must be hand-delivered by Monday, November 2, by close of business (no later than 5:00 p.m.) at your county Absentee Election Manager’s office.
Absentee Ballot Return by Mail Deadline: If you already obtained an absentee ballot by October 29, your county Absentee Election Manager must receive it by Tuesday, November 3, at noon.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Two of the Four Ballot Questions as they will appear on the Ballot:
STATEWIDE AMENDMENT 3: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, to require local boards of education to adopt policies requiring each public K-12 school to recite The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag at the beginning of each school day; and to require local boards of education to adopt a policy authorizing student-initiated and student-led prayer. (Proposed by Act 2026-379)
STATEWIDE AMENDMENT 4: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, to require local boards of education to adopt policies requiring each public K-12 school to broadcast or sanction the performance of the first stanza of The Star-Spangled Banner at least once per week during school hours. (Proposed by Act 2026-424)
And lastly, please join us in prayer. Pray for your city, our state, this beautiful country with which God blessed us, and those He places in power.
Jeremiah 29:7 reminds us, “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
