What a wonderful and encouraging time we had at Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) Summit 2026 in Washington, D.C.! Our Chapter Coordinator, Records Coordinator, and I had the privilege of representing CWA of Utah at this special gathering.
Together with CWA leaders and members from across the country, we participated in several days of informative training, inspiring speakers, fellowship, worship, and opportunities to put our faith into action.
One highlight of our time in Washington was lobbying on Capitol Hill. We met with staff from the offices of U.S. Sens. Mike Lee (R-Class III) and John Curtis (R-Class I), as well as U.S. Rep. Burgess Owens (R-District 4), to advocate for the MOMs Act (formerly known as Pregnancy.gov).
These visits were a meaningful reminder that our voices matter and we have both the privilege and duty to engage with our elected officials on issues that impact our families, communities, and nation.
We returned home encouraged, equipped, and ready to continue the work before us. Much remains to be done, and each of us has an important role to play through prayer, education, and action.
Please join us in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for our U.S. Senators and Representatives. Please direct their steps and guide them to use their authority to protect the innocent, promote godliness, and reject evil. May they seek Your guidance, and may we faithfully support them through prayer while standing firm in Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
Thank you for standing with CWA of Utah as we continue to pray, educate, and take action for Biblical values in our state and nation.
