America’s 250th Celebration Event: The Louisiana Purchase Comes Home

Please join Concerned Women for America of Louisiana as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a special event at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol!

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to view the original Louisiana Purchase agreement, signed in 1803 and on loan from the National Archives in Washington, D.C., for a limited time as part of America’s 250th Anniversary celebration. This historic document helped shape our nation and forever changed the course of American history.

Join us as we celebrate Louisiana’s unique place in America’s story. Enjoy distinguished speakers, a guided tour of Louisiana’s Old State Capitol, a screening of an award-winning short documentary, lunch, and fellowship with friends from across the state.
