Concerned Women for America of Pennsylvania invites you to join us in prayer and action as two important bills move through the Pennsylvania legislature aimed at strengthening protections for infants and victims of human trafficking.
HB910, sponsored by Rep. Donna Scheuren (R-District 147), strengthens Pennsylvania’s response to infant trafficking. This legislation increases criminal penalties for those who exploit or traffic infants, updates and modernizes existing criminal statutes, and clarifies the law to enable more effective prosecution of offenders. It reflects a bipartisan effort to provide better protection for the youngest and most vulnerable lives in our Commonwealth.
SB45, sponsored by Sen. Chris Dush (R-District 25), strengthens Pennsylvania’s broader human trafficking laws. It enhances penalties for trafficking and prostitution-related offenses, improves the clarity and enforcement of current statutes, and establishes a dedicated Prevention of Human Trafficking Account to support law enforcement efforts and victim services. This bill is designed to strengthen both the prosecution of offenders and the care for survivors.
