I am thrilled to announce that Gov. Kevin Stitt has officially signed a proclamation declaring April 2026 as Faith Month across the great State of Oklahoma!
This is a tremendous victory for faith, religious liberty, and the values that make Oklahoma strong. For the first time, our state is formally recognizing the vital role that faith—particularly our rich Judeo-Christian heritage—has played in shaping our moral, cultural, and civic foundation since our nation’s founding.
The proclamation highlights the importance of religious liberty, acknowledges the significance of April, with the seasons of Easter and Passover, and recognizes the powerful witness of Oklahomans who live out their faith daily through churches, charities, families, and public service. Additionally, it affirms the important work of Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Oklahoma in championing April as “Faith Month” since 2022.

As the proclamation beautifully states, we are called to “let our light shine” through good works that honor God and bless others.
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
A Prayer for Oklahoma:
Father God, may this new Proclamation serve as a reminder to every citizen of Oklahoma that they reside in a state and nation of great faith! Please bless Gov. Stitt for acknowledging CWA’s mission; the good people of the great state of Oklahoma; and God, please bless America. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This proclamation is more than just words on paper — it is a bold public affirmation that faith still matters in Oklahoma. Now is the time for believers across our state to celebrate our heritage, exercise our religious liberty, and shine the light of Christ through acts of kindness, integrity, and unwavering hope.
Thank you for standing with Concerned Women for America of Oklahoma as we continue to advance faith, family, and freedom in our state. Together, we are making a difference!
