WASHINGTON, DC – Concerned Women for America (CWA) conveys its deepest sympathies and offers its heartfelt prayers for the victims and families affected by the school shooting yesterday at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minn.

“Prayer is a lifeline, especially for those grieving the tragic loss of children. We grieve with, and offer our heartfelt prayers for, all those affected by the school shooting at Annunciation Catholic School,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America.

“For those questioning the usefulness of prayer, we suggest praying. The power of prayer is not in our efforts, but in the One to Whom we are praying. God hears our prayers and answers in His perfect timing. Only the Lord can give the comfort and true peace that we so desperately need in this life.

“We pray for the left-wing politicians who are callously attacking Christians for praying in response to this school shooting. Our country needs grace and healing that can only come from the Lord, not from vitriolic attacks on the faithful,” Nance said.
