Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Virginia wishes to thank Gov. Glenn Youngkin for his just released Governor’s Executive Order 32, reestablishing the Task Force on Maternal Health Data and Quality Measures. We support his efforts to advance and support maternal health care for women and families throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

“Improving health outcomes for mothers and infants is foundational to making Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Gov. Youngkin. “Mothers play an incomparable role in the lives of their children and families, and it is imperative that we do the necessary, collective work to ensure they are receiving the care they deserve.”

CWA of Virginia State Director Teresa Pregnall made this statement on the executive order:

“All matters pertaining to expectant mothers, life in the womb and beyond, are of great importance to us as an organization. We support the Governor’s Executive Order 32 and are hopeful for successful, positive outcomes pertaining to prenatal and postpartum care.

“Thank you, Gov. Youngkin, for taking an active role in ensuring that Virginia mothers, infants, and families are well taken care of in the future!”
