Deadline to apply: July 15

CWA Intern Program

CWA’s Ronald Reagan Memorial Internship Program is designed to give the next generation of female leaders experience in Biblically rooted public policy work.

Interns develop real work experience through hands-on training, professional development, and intentional spiritual investment. Interns are given an inside look into non-profit policy work and contribute valuable efforts and insights to the organization. By offering internships in six different departments, interns are given the opportunity to utilize their specific skills and passions.

Grow your skills.

Use your God-given gifts, increase your knowledge, and refine your leadership skills.

Learn in a fast-paced environment.

From media events to time spent on Capitol Hill, interns are given a well-rounded and exciting experience in D.C.

Develop lifelong relationships.

Establish genuine friendships with your fellow interns and make valuable connections in the city.

Acceptance to the Program

CWA accepts interns from any field of study to work in six different departments: Development/Donor Relations, Field: CWA Grassroots Outreach, Young Women for America, Communications (Digital and Press), Government Affairs/Public Policy, and Legal Studies. Please see the application for further detail on each specific department.

Acceptance to the Ronald Reagan Memorial Internship Program is contingent upon satisfactory completion of our application, a schedule compatible with CWA office hours and needs, qualification within the program parameters, and final selection by our committee.

Majors and Ages Accepted

CWA accepts interns from a variety of majors. We also welcome post-graduate interns up to age 26.

Academic Credit

The Ronald Reagan Memorial Internship Program is not an independently accredited program, but students may receive credit from their home institution depending on school policy. CWA is happy to work with your registrar’s office to provide program information.

The internship is a full-time paid position.

Housing and Transportation

Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from CWA’s national office each day. CWA’s headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C., and is within walking distance of the Braddock Road Metro stop. Carpooling with other CWA interns is also an option.
