Dear Friend,
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12)
What sets CWA apart from other organizations? It is our emphasis on prayer and action at the grassroots.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord … and who labors fervently in prayer. The greatest force for change on behalf of our families and country is indeed prayer and the responsibilities that come with our citizenship in a free country. All the resources of God Almighty are at our disposal, and He rules in all the affairs of men, and nothing is too hard for Him.
Stop Now, Pray and Act
Pray: Pray for our U.S. Senators. Pray for Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Chairman, Senate Judiciary Committee and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), Senate Majority Leader. Pray that the schemes of those attempting to discredit Judge Kavanaugh would be thwarted. Pray for the Senate as a whole, may Judge Brett Kavanaugh be confirmed.
“The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good. As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor. The heart of the wise inclines to the right but the heart of the fool to the left. Even as he walks along the road, the fools lack sense” (Ecclesiastes 9:17- 10:3a).
The Bible tells us “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).
The armor of our warfare hangs on prayer and is activated by prayer. “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
Act: Contact our Sens. John Thune (R) and Marion Rounds (R) and urge their continued support for Judge Kavanaugh.
God bless you for your prayer and action,
