CWA of Louisiana Postpones Workshop
in Lake Charles
LAKE CHARLES, LA – Due to historic flooding in south Louisiana, Concerned Women for America of Louisiana (CWA) will postpone the workshop for Christians in politics which was scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 24.
According to Sancha Smith, CWA of Louisiana State Director, many of the workshop speakers and participants are involved in the recovery and cleanup efforts. “We believe there is a need for this workshop, but we also believe the immediate needs of the flooding victims take priority at this time,” said Smith.
Elected officials, candidates and political leaders interested in learning more about Government by God’s Design can express their interest and get on a mailing list for the next scheduled workshop by contacting the workshop coordinator listed on the flyer available on the website at www.concernedwomen.org/state/louisiana.
