Washington, D.C. — This morning, Orlando, Florida suffered a terrorist attack where a gunman killed at least 50 and injured many more. The FBI has said the individual bragged about his ties to terrorist organizations. Officials have confirmed this attack was ideology driven. This attack is also being recorded as the worst mass shooting in American history. Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Nance had this to say:
“Concerned Women for America’s prayers are with everyone impacted by last night’s horror. Terrorist attacks on any community in America is an attack on all Americans. These were 50 precious lives stolen from families and loved ones.
“This heartbreaking attack is yet more evidence of the radical Islamic terrorism our country is facing right here on our own soil. We must not sacrifice our safety in the name of political correctness and instead take action to stop it. These attacks have become more frequent, and we must acknowledge them for what they are, lest we become numb to this horror. Our country needs leadership who will not back down from this fight, nor treat it as a playground bully.”
