A conversation with Concerned Women for America president Penny Nance …
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Concerned Women for America, the largest grassroots women’s organization in the country, with more than 500,000 members. Warren Cole Smith talks with Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Nance. Before taking over as CEO and president of Concerned Women for America four years ago, Penny had a varied career in Washington that included time on Capitol Hill as a staffer for Georgia Congressman Pat Swindall, and five years as CWA’s legislative director. She has also consulted with such organizations as Prison Fellow Ministries, where she worked closely with evangelical icon Chuck Colson, and the Center for Reclaiming America, founded by another evangelical leader, D. James Kennedy.
