Sen. William Ligon (R-Brunswick) introduced SB 68, appropriately named “Celebrate Freedom Week”. SB 68 would recognize the entire week in September that coincides with Constitution Day as Celebrate Freedom Week and provide Georgia students with a week-long emphasis on the principles of our founding documents. The bill passed out of the Senate and is now in the House Education Committee.
