On Friday, the 2025 Florida legislative session came to an end. Our elected officials worked hard to make Florida a better place to live and raise a family.

Interesting Florida bill stats: 1,952 bills were filed, 255 bills passed both chambers, 19 bills approved by the governor, and zero bills vetoed by the governor.

Thank the Lord with me that we live in a state where most of our elected officials still protect life in the womb, religious freedom, children, and families. As a result, we had a successful legislative session regarding most issues.

Thank you to all our Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) participants who faithfully prayed for our leaders and sent postcards with words of encouragement throughout the legislative session. We know that prayer changes hearts and minds, and it can even move mountains.

We have received multiple expressions a thanks from the legislators including this one:

“My staff and I have received weekly postcards from your organization, saying that you are praying for me, and I wanted to say a sincere thank you. The work of legislating can be grueling on occasion, and it means the world to me that there are ladies out there praying for me, the people of Florida, and the work we’re doing.”

PLEASE PRAY! Please continue to pray for the Florida men and women who serve faithfully in elected positions as they return to their hometowns. Although the legislative session has ended, the work continues. Additionally, pray for your national and local officials.
