We are outraged by the shocking and underhanded actions of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. In a last-minute political maneuver, she has requested an additional $10 million from the state legislature to fund yet another taxpayer-funded abortion center—this time in Northern New Mexico. This comes on top of the $10 million already allocated last year for an abortion facility in Las Cruces.

This blatant misuse of taxpayer dollars was slipped into HB 450 at the eleventh hour last night—without public input. Despite strong opposition, House Democrats passed the bill  voting 41-25.

New Mexico is already a magnet for abortion businesses flooding into our state in the past two years. The Senate is expected to vote on this tonight and possibly a Senate committee before that. Time is running out to stop this reckless spending.

We urgently need your voice to be heard NOW.  We must send a strong, unified message to both the Senate and the Governor’s office IMMEDIATELY.

Action Needed: Call the Governor’s office and your Senator. Respectfully demand that taxpayer dollars stop funding the abortion industry and that the $10 million added last night to HB 450 be taken out immediately. Encourage your friends and family to do the same.
