Prayer for the 2022 Elections

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)

Prayer for the 2022 Elections:

Lord, we ask that Your perfect will is done in the 2022 elections, in each race taking place. Establish righteous leaders in every state across our nation. We ask you to remove those in leadership who have set their hearts and minds against You and the Truth of Your Word.

May there be many more elected officials who are “oaks of righteousness,” planted and standing with unwavering tenacity for Biblical principles. We know that following the Truth of Your word brings life and prosperity to individuals, families, and nations, and we ask for leaders who understand this principle.

Lord, we ask You to remind Your people of the importance of voting their values in this election and in future elections. Let there be a tremendous turnout of believers voting in this election! May Christians understand the urgency of the hour and all that is at stake in our country.

If there are any plots being planned to alter the results of the elections in any state, we ask that You uncover that which is hidden in darkness! Shine the light of Your truth into all areas of corruption and bring complete exposure of lies and deceit! We pray and believe that each election taking place will have truthful and accurate counts and results.

We thank You in advance, Almighty God! The future of our nation is in Your hands, and we trust You for a great turnaround in 2022!

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!” Psalm 126:3

CWA of Kansas Commemorates National Day of Fasting, Repentance, and Prayer

By | Kansas | No Comments

Before we get caught up in the upcoming season of busyness, let us cultivate a humble heart with fasting, repentance, and prayer on Thursday, November 21.

We invite you to join us in a National Day of Fasting, Repentance, and Prayer in honor of the 156th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s Proclamation 97 – Appointing a Day of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer. Together let us observe and reaffirm our 16th President’s heartfelt plea to the supreme authority and just governance of Almighty God.

“Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do by this my proclamation designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th day of April 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer. And I do hereby request all the people to abstain on that day from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite at their several places of public worship and their respective homes in keeping the day holy to the Lord and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.”

Fasting before we feast is a reminder that God provides everything that we need. It reminds us of who we are and who God is. It also reminds us that as we hunger physically, we also hunger spiritually. And when we repent, we are promised forgiveness. Not any ordinary forgiveness, but a complete pardon from our sins and the payment they require. Now that draws us to our knees in Thanksgiving. God has fully provided for us in Christ!

This is why our hope is not in government or elected officials or even in a grateful attitude. But, instead, our hope is firmly in Christ alone.

Mark your calendar on Thursday, November 21, the week before Thanksgiving. Whether in your car, home, classroom, or office, let us repent and seek God on behalf of ourselves and our nation

Blessings to you and yours during this Thanksgiving season!

Urgent Help Needed to Protect Texas Values

Concerned Women for America Needs Your Help!

The 86th Legislative Session, proclaimed by Texas state officials to be the “Super Bowl” of sessions, was anything but that when considering very important conservative concerns/issues that were ignored or not addressed during the 2019 session. As a result, CWA of Texas has joined forces with a group of conservative leaders from over 200 organizations in Texas to urge Gov. Greg Abbott to call a special session of the state legislature BEFORE the March 3, 2020, primary election to address the groups’ “Lone Star Agenda.”

Click here to review The Lone Star Agenda. The red text following each agenda item is CWA of Texas’s efforts to pass or oppose the legislation during the 2019 session.

Time-Sensitive Action Item

  1. Please email or write your state senator and your state representative and ask them to request Gov. Abbott to call a special session BEFORE the March 3 primary. Find your state and representative here. Emphasize the issues from the list below that are important to you and your family. Keep your letter short and to the point.
  2. If you mail your legislator, please send me a copy of your letter either by mail (P.O. Box 541, Rockwall, Texas 75087) or to my email address: [email protected]. If you email your legislators, will you please forward me a copy of the emails to [email protected].

I will compile the letters and emails and present them to Gov. Abbott or Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.  I need your correspondence by November 1, to make it reasonable for the session call to be made for January or February. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at  972-658-4204.

Pray that the Lord will move on the heart of Gov. Abbott on our behalf and call a special session before the March 3 primary. Pray Psalm 40:8 on behalf of Gov. Abbott. “I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
