“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Ronald W. Reagan

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Edmund Burke

These maxims describe the reason for becoming involved in Concerned Women for America. Love of God, family, and country is no longer being instilled in America’s children. Freedom must be cherished and protected. Unfortunately, most Americans have taken their God-given liberties for granted. A return to the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was founded is our only hope.

The beauty of Concerned Women for America is that it combines both prayer and action. CWA empowers women to be on the frontline protecting the sanctity of human life, defending religious liberty, affecting education, fighting sexual exploitation, securing national sovereignty, and supporting Israel. When Christian women unite behind a righteous cause, there is no stopping us!

Prayer/Action Chapters
A Prayer/Action Chapter is a group of people who meet, usually once a month, to pray, learn, and take action regarding legislation that falls under CWA’s seven core issues. Click here to find out how you can start a Prayer/Action Chapter or join one in your area.

Home Team
A Home Team Captain does not hold meetings. Instead, they forward legislative information they receive from CWA to the members of their Home Team and encourage them to pray, learn, and take action on the issues.

Encourage-A-Legislator Project
Do you want to make a powerful and effective investment in the state of Illinois? Consider participating in the annual Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Prayer Project. This program is designed to be simple, yet effective, as we pray for and encourage the hearts and minds of our legislators and their families. Click here to find out more.
