Stand with Israel Prayer Vigil in to be held in
Murfreesboro, TN Saturday, November 18

Vigil for victims and hostages and against antisemitism in the U.S.

Washington, D.C.  – Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA) and Young Women for America (YWA) announced they are hosting a prayer vigil for Israel at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza  Saturday, November 18, at 2:00 p.m. that will focus attention on the suffering of the Jewish people and victims of the horrific terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023, at the hands of Hamas.

While antisemitism is on the rise and U.S. cities and colleges around the country continue to see pro-terrorist rallies and sympathies for the perpetrators of the attacks on Israel, the Tennessee prayer vigil will show support for the nation’s strongest ally and friend.

Details of the event include:

Who:

  1. CWA CEO and President Penny Nance
  2. YWA Rutherford County Chapter President Hannah Faulkner
  3. CWA Executive Vice President Annabelle Rutledge

What: Prayer Vigil for Israel
Where: Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130
When: Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CST

“There is no equivocation in this conflict. Israel was mercilessly attacked, and innocent men, women, and children were murdered, raped, and victimized,” said Penny Nance. “We stand with Israel and against the demonic forces that would try to destroy its people. We recognize the special covenant that God made with the Jewish people, and we are instructed in the Bible to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We are fulfilling our calling by holding this important prayer event.”
