We need your prayers and action. Illinois lawmakers are actively pushing physician-assisted suicide legislation, SB 1950, a direct threat to the sanctity of life and to vulnerable Illinois residents, especially the elderly, disabled, and mentally vulnerable.
Last week, the Illinois state legislature passed a bill that legalizes physician-assisted suicide. The bill was delivered to Gov. Pritzker’s desk and awaits his signature—or a veto.
This dangerous measure would allow medical professionals to prescribe life-ending drugs to those deemed eligible to die. From other states’ experiences, once legalized, these bills quickly expand to include those with disabilities, depression, and even minors. The solution to suffering is compassion, care, and support—not killing.
Let us stand firm for life and defuse their enthusiasm for this dangerous agenda.
Take Action Today
The most critical step now is to contact Governor J.B. Pritzker and urge him to veto the bill as it waits for his review.
Suggested message:
“Governor Pritzker, I respectfully urge you to veto SB 1950, legislation that would legalize physician-assisted suicide in Illinois. Our state should protect life, not encourage its premature ending.”
