Time to Sign up for the 2021 Encourage-A-Legislator Program

It is time to recruit encouragers for our Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Kansas Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Program for the 2021 Kansas legislative session. We thank God for our wonderful volunteers who have participated in our Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Program in the past. I know you made a difference in those legislative sessions. Thank you!

If you are new to CWA of Kansas, EAL is a program focused solely on prayer and encouragement for our 165 state legislators. Your efforts encourage and build bridges with the conservative legislators as well as those who do not typically agree with CWA of Kansas. Your benefit as an encourager is that you are energized and blessed to be a part of this effort.

Here are the details:
Starting the second week in January of 2021, our EAL participants pray for an assigned legislator every day of the legislative session. And once a month, participants send a CWA furnished postcard to their assigned legislator with encouraging words, letting them know that they are being prayed for daily.

This year we are asking participants to commit to the entire session. The session typically runs from January through May 2021. Will you volunteer for this important prayer ministry?

Once signed up, participants receive an EAL packet. The packet includes postcards, instructions, a calendar mailing schedule, the name and biography of their assigned legislator, and 10 CWA of Kansas EAL postcards.

April will need your name, physical mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, and how many legislators you would like to encourage. (You may do more than one.)
• Please forward this to friends and family who you think may be interested in participating.  

Please Pray: Dear Father, please inspire CWA members and friends to become a pray-er and encourager for Kansas’ legislative body. May each legislator be thoroughly encouraged and drawn closer to Yourself as they are encouraged and prayed for daily. All praise and thanks. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
