“God’s word will not return void,
but will accomplish what He desires.” – Isaiah 55:11
Oklahoma’s State School Superintendent Ryan Walters has announced a new “America First Teacher’s Screening” for teachers moving into Oklahoma from progressive states like New York and California. The goal is to ensure that educators coming from states with radical education policies are properly vetted before entering our classrooms.
Superintendent Walters explained that this initiative is meant to protect Oklahoma students from harmful ideologies that undermine parental rights, American values, and truth. Critics are already vehemently attacking the measure, but we must stand firm to protect our children’s education.
Pray:
- Pray for Superintendent Walters as he leads with courage in the face of opposition. Ask the Lord to strengthen and protect him.
- Pray for Oklahoma classrooms, that they will remain places of truth, not indoctrination, and that every child will be taught with integrity and respect for parents’ values.
- Pray for teachers, that those who come to Oklahoma will honor the responsibility of shaping young minds and teach with wisdom and truth.
Act:
- Encourage Superintendent Walters – take a moment to send him a note of support and gratitude for standing for Oklahoma’s children. Let him know that you were informed by Concerned Women for America of Oklahoma.
- Share this e-alert with family, friends, and your church community so that more believers can join us in prayer and action.
We know that when we plant God’s truth, it will not return void. Let us continue to stand in prayer and action to protect the hearts and minds of Oklahoma’s children.
