Prayer Service at the Missouri Capitol

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” –  2 Chronicles 7:14

You are warmly invited to join Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Missouri at the Missouri State Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, January 7, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for a meaningful New Year prayer service focused on prayer, truth, and advocacy on behalf of children and families.

From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we will hear from 12 pastors and community leaders, each addressing one of six critical areas where children are being harmed today:

  1. Right to Life
  2. Inappropriate materials (pornography) in school libraries
  3. DEI
  4. Boys competing in girls’ sports and accessing girls’ locker rooms
  5. Medical safety and irreversible surgeries
  6. Parental rights

At noon, our keynote speaker, Bill Federer, will address attendees. Many of you are familiar with Bill through his powerful presentations and widely read books on the Constitution and America’s Founding Fathers.

The gathering will conclude with a closing prayer led by Rich Bott of Bott Radio Network.

Following the prayer service, those who wish to participate in legislative visits are invited to meet in the Capitol Rotunda. From there, we will visit with some of our state legislators, providing an opportunity to meet them in person, share Concerned Women for America of Missouri’s mission, and encourage them as they serve our state.

This is an important opportunity to begin the new year united in prayer, seeking God’s guidance for our leaders, our state, and our children. We hope you will consider attending.

Please let me know if you plan to attend and feel free to share this invitation.
