“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you …” – Jeremiah 11:5
Colorado is once again advancing legislation that impacts the preborn! HB26-1335, Abortion Medication Access on College Campuses, has been introduced in the House Education Committee.
At this time, the bill has not yet been scheduled for a hearing. I will notify you as soon as it is added to the calendar.
Contraceptives and birth control options are already widely available at no cost in Colorado. However, HB26-1335 goes further by requiring colleges and universities with student health centers to provide abortion medication on campus.
By expanding abortion access in this way, the bill prioritizes abortion over other options and raises concerns about whether women are being fully informed of all their choices and the potential risks involved. Rather than promoting comprehensive care and support, this legislation focuses on increasing access to abortion services.
We believe this bill is unnecessary and moves Colorado in the wrong direction.
Action:
Please take a moment today to contact the members of the House Education Committee and respectfully voice your opposition to HB 26-1335. Encourage them to stand for the protection of the preborn and to reject this legislation.
When you call or email, mention that you learned about this from Concerned Women for America of Colorado and will stay updated through their communications.
Pray:
Father God, please protect the preborn of Colorado and soften the hearts of legislators to choose life for Colorado! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and action. Together, we can make a difference for life in Colorado.
