Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Maine invites you to join us for a time of worship and prayer for our country, state, communities, and leaders at the National Day of Prayer event this coming Thursday, May 6, in Augusta. Prayer is as important today as it was in our country’s beginnings. Just as our Founding Fathers sought God’s guidance and wisdom, we want to do the same.
Here are the details:
Date: Thursday, May 6
Time: Noon
Location: At the Capitol between the Maine State Museum and the Capitol Building. The address to locate this area is 230 State Street, Augusta, Maine.
Seating is limited, so we encourage you to bring a chair.

Please Pray: Dear Father, You have been God of our nation and have blessed it for over 200 years because our laws reflected Your Word. We ask for forgiveness as we have slowly drifted away from You and Your ways and have brought on this nation disgrace and loss of blessing. We pray for revival. May the National Day of Prayer gatherings here in Maine and across this nation be the beginning of a new resolve to follow You in all Your ways and make You Lord again. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
2 Cor. 3:17: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
