Join Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Maine in Augusta on Wednesday, February 12, for the annual “Respect Life Day” sponsored by Maine Right To Life.

Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, February 12
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Hall of Flags located on the 2nd floor of the State House in Augusta. Click here for directions.

CWA of Maine will join other pro-life organizations throughout Maine to share our ministry with legislators and the public.  The purpose of the event is to educate and encourage respect for life.

Take Action:

  • Attend the Respect for Life Day. Be sure to stop by our CWA of Maine exhibit and introduce yourself.
  • Visit the offices of your legislators while at the Capitol and let them know you are pro-life and appreciate their service. If you are participating in CWA of Maine’s Encourage-A-Legislator project, this would be a great time to meet your legislator. To find your legislators and their contact information by the town you live in click House and Senate.
  • If you are unable to attend, please call your legislators on February 12 and let them know you are pro-life and appreciate their service.
  • Forward this e-alert to friends and family and encourage them to attend. We want a strong pro-life presence to show our lawmakers and visitors that we continue to make strides to protect life from conception to natural death.

Please Pray: Dear Father, thank You for the opportunity to stand for You in the public square and to stand for life in all stages You give.  We ask that You send many pro-lifers from across Maine to the Capitol on February 12.  May it be a day that honors and glorifies You in everything shown, said, and done. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen

God’s Word says in Psalm139:13-16, “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect, and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them.”

We hope to see you in Augusta on Wednesday, February 12!

 Maranatha!
