The vote on H.R. 3, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, in the House of Representatives demonstrated a strong pro-life ethos as Congress overwhelmingly agreed that measures to protect the life of the unborn should be codified. Previously, these funding restrictions on abortion were in amendment form and had to be attached to a funding bill and approved each year.
