Day 9 -Praying Psalm 91

Dear Lord Jesus,
You have said that,
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

We will say of You Lord,
that You are our refuge and fortress,
Our God in whom we trust.

You will save us from the fowler’s snare
And from the deadly pestilence. We pray
That you will cover us with Your feathers
And under Your wings we would find refuge.

May Your faithfulness be our shield. May we not fear
The pestilence that stalks in the darkness nor
The plague that destroys at midday.
We have made the Most High our dwelling – the Lord is our refuge.

So, we rest on the promise that no harm will befall us,
No disaster will come near our tent, for You will command
Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways.
You said that, because we love You,
You will rescue us and protect us, for we acknowledge Your name.

We call upon You and You have promised to answer us.
You will be with us in trouble and deliver us.
With long life You will satisfy us and show us Your salvation.

We are asking these things with thanksgiving;
Claiming these truths in the powerful name of Jesus,
Amen.
