Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) commends the U.S. House for prioritizing prohibiting funds towards gender transition procedures, abortion-related travel, drag shows, and DEI programs/positions in the military in the Defense Appropriations Bill (H.R. 4016). The bill also includes specific religious liberty protections for those who believe marriage is between one man and one woman.
“Our military needs to be able to focus on performing their duties to protect Americans, instead of being distracted by anti-American initiatives. The appropriations bill rightly re-focuses the military from DEI initiatives that seek to divide our country to serving and protecting all our citizens,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America LAC.
