WASHINGTON, DC – Concerned Women for America (CWA) mourns the passing of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

“We offer our heartfelt prayers and sympathy to Sen. Lindsey Graham’s family, friends, and staff. Concerned Women for America had the honor of working with him since he was elected to Congress. He was incredibly hardworking, funny, and smart. Sen. Graham loved his country and spent a lifetime defending her along with individual rights, particularly the rights of unborn babies. In addition, Senator Graham understood the crucial nature of the US-Israel relationship and peace through strength. As a young man, Senator Graham joined the Air Force to provide for his 13-year-old orphaned little sister, showing his devotion and loyalty amidst trying circumstances. Sen. Graham was a good friend to CWA, and we are stunned by this loss, which is felt deeply by our nation, and especially by the people of South Carolina,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America.
