Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Kansas joined with like-minded friends at the Annual Prayer Gathering at the State Capitol in Topeka last week to pray for the state legislators and Executive Branch and to participate in the Bible Read-A-Thon where the entire Bible was read inside of the State Capitol. CWA of Kansas State Director Mary Meininger had this to say about the event: “Prayer is in CWA’s DNA. We are committed to praying for those in authority that God’s wisdom and direction guide their decisions. It was our honor to pray that GOD’s mighty hand will be on Kansas leaders as they begin the legislative session.
