CWA of Hawaii Invites You to be Part of the Encourage-A-Legislator Project

By February 12, 2013Hawaii

Concerned Women for America of Hawaii is encouraging you to participate in this year’s Encourage-A-Legislator Project for the 2013 legislative session. Men and women are needed who are willing to adopt a state legislator and pray for him or her daily during the current legislative session. We are asking you to send a weekly encouraging postcard for the 12 weeks that are left in the session. Concerned Women for America of Hawaii will supply postcards, one for each of the remaining weeks of the legislative session, on which you will write encouraging words, affix a stamp and drop in the mail once a week. The session began Wednesday, January 16, 2013, and is expected to end the first week in May.

We encourage you to join us as we pray and encourage our state legislators. If you would like to pray for two of them, we will be glad to send you two packs of postcards.

1 Timothy 2:1-2: “I urge, then, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, in all godliness and reverence.”

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to be salt and light in the lives of these men and women who daily need the Lord’s wisdom as they lead our great state. No lobbying is done with these cards. It is only prayer and encouragement.

Sign up today! E-mail me at director@hawaii.cwfa.org and provide your name and address.
