Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, expresses its steadfast support for Israel’s proactive measure of self-defense in launching preemptive strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities on June 13, 2025. For years, Iran has engaged in a proxy war against Israel, backing terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, which threaten Israel’s security and regional stability.

“We stand with Israel in this critical moment,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America. “Israel’s decisive action to neutralize Iran’s nuclear threat is a necessary step to protect its people. We are praying fervently for Israel’s safety, for wisdom for its leaders, and for peace to prevail swiftly in the region. We also lift up President Trump and his administration, asking for divine wisdom and guidance as they navigate this complex and volatile situation to promote stability and security.”

CWA is grateful to report that a large group of our staff and Young Women for America leaders safely left Israel just hours before the strikes began, following a two-week trip focused on Biblical and cultural engagement. We remain committed to praying for all affected by this conflict and advocating for policies that promote peace and security.
