We need your immediate prayer and action regarding a troubling piece of legislation in Colorado: SB26-018, Concerning Legal Protections for the Dignity of a Minor.
While the title may sound positive, this bill would require courts in divorce or separation cases to consider parenting time and decision-making authority based on whether a parent affirms a child’s stated gender identity. In practice, this bill would allow courts to favor parents who affirm a child’s gender identity and penalize those who do not – placing government judgment above parental convictions about biology, parenting, and family.
This proposal interferes with parental rights and places government authority over parents’ God-given responsibility to raise their children according to their values and convictions.
We must ask ourselves: Does this align with Scripture and God’s design for parenting and family?
At this time, SB26-018 has not yet been scheduled for public comment, which means now is the critical moment to pray and take action against it.

Protect Your design for the family, uphold parental rights, and protect children from policies that seek to separate children from their parents.
