CHOICES: The Choice Before Us is Plain: Christ or Chaos, Conviction or Compromise, Discipline or Disintegration

Dear CWA of Washington Member,

John Quincy Adams, our 6th president and considered by many to have been our greatest diplomat ever said, “The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”

On January 13, 1947, U.S. Senate Chaplain Peter Marshall stated, “The choice before us is plain: Christ or chaos, conviction or compromise, discipline or disintegration. I am rather tired of hearing about our rights … The time is come to hear about responsibilities … America’s future depends upon her accepting and demonstrating God’s government.”

Your morals. Your values. Your strong convictions about the sanctity of human life, traditional family, religious liberty, parental rights, our Biblical heritage. All of that is under attack. Add to that the Benghazi cover-ups, IRS targeting, AP wiretapping; all these scandals are adding up, rocking the highest levels of our government. President John Adams warned that our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. Have you considered that the words and principles of our nation’s founders today would be declared unconstitutional and un-American by today’s media, courts and politicians? You and CWA understand that we are on the edge of a precipice and only we the people can decide which way we will fall. What can we do, you ask?

CWA has launched a brand new campaign called Willing. It begins with a simple question to ask yourself: Are you willing to stand up for Truth, whatever the cost? You will find all the information you need to participate at this website: http://www.willing2stand.com/willing2stand.com/Willing2Stand.html

From that website: “Willing” is our pledge to GOD, as testimony to the world, that we will never deny Him or His Word, whatever the cost. Jesus Christ told us that “If they persecuted [Him], they will also persecute you.” (John 15:20) Therefore, we shouldn’t be surprised when the world rejects us. We need to remain faithful to Him in every area and endure whatever momentary afflictions we may endure, for our trust is in Him alone.”
