Here’s a bit on President Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, Judge Neil Gorsuch.
His academic credentials are second to none: B.A. from Columbia University, Harvard Law School, and if that isn’t enough, he has a Ph.D. in law from University College at Oxford University (on a Marshall Scholarship — that’s a big deal). Bottom line, this is a unique intellect that we’re talking about.
His career is just as impressive. He clerked under three judges, including two Supreme Court justices, was a successful associate, then partner at a distinguished law firm, had a distinguished career at the Department of Justice and, of course, was appointed to the Tenth Circuit with bipartisan support. He should be confirmed swiftly.
