This Saturday! Annual Prayer and Worship Gathering at the State Capitol

By January 2, 2024Kansas

Concerned Women for America of Kansas is excited to be walking the halls of the State Capitol with like-minded friends and praying for the upcoming legislative session that begins Monday, January 8, 2024.

Now more than ever, our state legislators need our prayers. We, as believers, are commanded to pray for those in authority. I truly believe that prayer moves the hand of God and He wants to hear the cries of His people. What a great opportunity to pray for those whose decisions impact our daily lives.

I hope you can join me this Saturday, January 6, 2023. Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 3, at director@kansas.cwfa.org so I know to expect you.

Here are all the details.
Date: Saturday, January 6
Time: 10:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Kansas State Capitol, SW 8th & SW Van Buren St, Topeka, KS 66612 (Enter on North side of the Capitol on 8th Street.)
Meet-up information: We will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the Visitor Center inside the Capitol. The event begins at 10:25 a.m. There will be a time of worship in the Old Supreme Court Room and a prayer walk in the Capitol.

Additional opportunity following the prayer walk: Donna Lippoldt with Culture Shield will be leading the Bible Read-a-Thon starting at 12:25 p.m. on the second floor of the Capitol.

Let us be in prayer for this special event and the 2024 legislative session. We pray that all we do bring honor and glory to HIS mighty name and that others may truly know Him.

I hope to see you at the prayer event this Saturday, January 6.

Much happens when we pray.
