“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
As summer begins across Michigan, schools are closing their doors for a season, and teachers, students, homeschool families, and administrators are stepping away from the routines and responsibilities of another school year.
For many, this season brings a welcome opportunity to rest, reflect, and recharge. Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Michigan invites you to join us in praying for our educational communities throughout the summer months.
While much attention is often given to the challenges facing education, summer provides a unique opportunity to pause and ask God to strengthen, encourage, and prepare those who influence the next generation.
Please join us in praying for these five areas:
Rest and Renewal
Pray that teachers, students, homeschool families, and school staff will experience true physical, emotional, and spiritual refreshment during the summer months. May they find rest in the Lord and return renewed for the year ahead.
Safety
Pray for God’s protection over summer activities, vacations, camps, sports programs, and everyday adventures. May He watch over every child and family throughout the season.
Growth
Pray that this summer would be a time of continued learning and spiritual growth. May hearts be drawn closer to the Lord and minds be prepared for future opportunities.
Relationships
Pray for healthy friendships, strong family relationships, and encouraging influences. Ask God to surround those who may feel isolated with people who will support and uplift them.
Opportunities for Ministry
Lift up Vacation Bible Schools, summer camps, mission trips, and community outreach efforts. Pray that many children, students, and families will hear the Gospel and grow in their faith.
As we pray for Michigan’s educators, students, and families, let us remember that transformation often begins in individual hearts. May this summer be a season of restoration, encouragement, and spiritual growth for those who teach, lead, learn, and serve throughout our state.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Thank you for standing with us in prayer for Michigan’s educators, students, and families this summer.
