From Capitol Hill to Arizona: Continuing the Momentum

At the end of September, I had the honor of attending Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) Summit in Washington, D.C., alongside four other women of faith from Arizona. What an inspiring and unforgettable experience!

Our Arizona group arrived a day early to participate in Lobby Day, where we visited our U.S. representatives’ and senators’ offices to discuss the MOMS ACT, legislation focused on supporting mothers and families.

What an amazing opportunity we were given to explain this incredible, woman-centered act to members of Congress and/or their staff.  At each office, whether Democrat or Republican, we had the joy of praying with whoever we met, and not one of them refused prayer!

Beyond Lobby Day, we were blessed to hear from congressional leaders, Cabinet members, and other inspirational speakers.  What will ALWAYS stick with me was hearing our national leaders speak the word of God, proclaim Jesus as Lord, and ask us to pray for revival in our land!  They also pressed hard on the importance of voting, especially in this mid-term election.

Bringing the Momentum Home to Arizona

Our prayer is that the encouragement and inspiration we experienced in Washington will continue here in Arizona, and we keep this momentum going.

As we approach the upcoming elections, we encourage Arizonans to prayerfully consider the issues, learn about the candidates, and participate in the electoral process.

One resource available to voters is ChristianVotes.org, which provides election-related information and resources.

Although Arizona’s regular voter registration deadline has passed, voters can still learn about voting locations, election procedures, and opportunities to serve as poll workers or observers.

This is a CALL TO ACTION for all Christian women of Arizona to be bold, to tell your friends, neighbors, and loved ones that every single vote counts.  If you are a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian Woman in Arizona, please join us in getting fellow believers to the polls!

Come on, ARIZONA, get out and VOTE!!
