Do you believe our state legislators across the country need prayer and encouragement as they serve? We do, too!
Concerned Women for America (CWA) invites you to join our 2027 Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Program, a prayer ministry that offers a simple, meaningful way to pray for and encourage state legislators across the country.
Scripture calls us to pray for those in authority:
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority…” — 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Through the EAL Program, volunteer encouragers are assigned a state legislator and commit to:
- Pray daily for their assigned legislator(s).
- Send handwritten postcards of encouragement throughout the legislative session. (Postcards provided.)
That’s it! No lobbying. No discussion of legislation or political issues. Just faithful prayer and words of encouragement for those serving in public office.
