With the strike of the gavel, the Louisiana legislature will convene the General Session on Monday, April 14, 2025. Once again, Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Louisiana will represent your voice with boldness and grace at our state capitol. As with everything we do at CWA, let us start with prayer.

You are invited to join us as we kick off the 2025 legislative session with our annual Pre-Session Capitol Prayer Walk.

In addition, this year Dr. Michael Sprague, Louisiana State Chaplain, Capitol Commission, has graciously accepted our invitation to join us in the Capitol Chapel to share an encouraging word and join us in prayer.

Please make plans now to join us on Wednesday, April 9, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Louisiana State Capitol at 900 North Street in Baton Rouge. We will be meeting in the Rotunda.

If you have not yet been to the state capitol, now is the time! Be sure to invite friends and family. 

Come and be a part of this important day as we seek the Lord together. We know that “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)
