Washington, D.C. – Today, Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) blasted President Joe Biden for siding with the enemy by withholding weapons from our greatest ally in the Middle East. Israel’s war against Iran, Hamas, and other terrorist groups intent on their destruction is severely hampered by this decision as they enter the terrorist stronghold of Rafah.

“Israel is at war against terrorism and the United States cannot allow its greatest ally to fail,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWALAC. “The audacity of Joe Biden and the radical terrorist wing of his party to dictate to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu how to manage this war is mindboggling. 

“Biden’s reckless foreign policy has left the lives of millions at risk, including the October 7 hostages, five of whom are Americans. We must get the weapons to Israel NOW and help them destroy these vile terrorists whose barbaric disregard for life has been on display to the world. 

“Supporting Israel is the best strategy for the United States at every level. We must help our closest ally in the region and give them the tools they need to defeat the terrorists who brutalized and murdered their citizens and to use against Iran, an enemy of the U.S. who has vowed to destroy Israel.

“Prime Minister Netanyahu needs to know he is not alone and that the U.S. has his back. The American people have his back and the Congressional aid package that Biden signed must get to Israel today.”

Support for Israel is one of Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee’s seven core issues. CWALAC has connected families of the October 7 hostages with Members of Congress and its Young Women for America (YWA) leaders have been holding prayer vigils for Israel on college campuses and at civic centers around the country to focus attention on the suffering of the Jewish people.
