As the sports world marked two years since Lia Thomas, a biological man, stole a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women’s national swimming championship, YWA Ambassador and NCAA athlete Macy Petty gives her insights into what young women have had to face in sports with males competing in women’s sports and how she has being fighting for female athletes her whole college career.  “Men stealing women’s opportunities were a part of a larger, calculated scheme to fundamentally disrupt the progress Title IX established and to wage war on womanhood,” she writes.
