101,000 Petitions to Congress!

You are making a difference!

On May 26, Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) Chief Executive Officer, Penny Nance, had the honor of representing you when she and CWA Legislative Director Shari Rendall hand-delivered over 101,000 petitions to Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi), the Senate sponsor of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act.

The petitions were then hand-delivered to each respective senator’s office. Along with phone calls and faxes, we estimate that our team members made well over 300,000 citizen contacts to the Senate last week, exceeding our quarter-million goal.

It was such an honor to personally present these petitions to Sen. Wicker on your behalf and let him know that citizens are supporting his efforts to remove the “taxpayer favored” status from the abortion industry.

Polling shows that more than 60 percent of Americans don’t want their tax dollars used to take the lives of innocents, and it’s time to end abortion subsidies.

Thank you for taking time to sign our petition and for calling your senators and representative to make your voice heard.

But there’s still more to do! Pro-abortion Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) will not bring this bill to the floor without pressure.

Please call your Senators today at 202-224-3121, and ask them to cosponsor and support the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act today. We need Senator Reid to get the message that Americans don’t want to be forced to subsidize this immoral behavior.
