Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally

  • Friday, March 23, 2012, is an important date for us. We will be joining thousands across our nation to rally for religious freedom. CWA of Oklahoma will be participating in a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the HS Centennial Park in downtown Tulsa located at 5801 S. Yale (southeast shelter next to the public baseball field). The rally will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. We ask you to join us there.

This is a time for you to make your voice heard and take a stand for the very freedom upon which our great nation was founded religious freedom.

National Day of Prayer

  • We, also, encourage you to mark your calendars for noon on

Thursday, May 3, at the State Capitol for the National Day of Prayer. You will have the opportunity to meet many of our state officials as well as a time to talk with your own individual representatives. Gov. Mary Fallin, Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb, Attorney General Scott Pruitt, and others will be attending. It is an exciting time, and many will be attending so plan to come early for parking is limited.

These two important opportunities give you a chance to stand up for protecting our freedoms and praying for our nation with the added bonus of viewing the beautiful rotunda of the Oklahoma State Capitol.

We encourage you to support Concerned Women for America of Oklahoma and join us by becoming involved in your community as a Prayer/Action Chapter Leader meeting once a month with those in your church or township to pray and take educated action on the public policy issues that are affecting us today.
