CWA members participated in the National Day of Prayer on May 6, 2010. They and an estimated 100 of their fellow citizens met at the Lafayette Consolidated Government Building. Joan Beduze, CWA of Louisiana’s 535 Coordinator, represented the CWA of Louisiana Steering Committee and led in prayer for our national and local government and their leaders. She was joined by representatives of area churches, local ministries, and the home school community who came to pray for the concerns that face our churches and our families with emphasis on the spiritual needs and problems facing our educational system and our culture.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand.
– Psalm 95:6 & 7
