Join CWA of Louisiana on #WearBlueDay

By January 2, 2023Louisiana

In 2007, The U.S. Senate established January 11 as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Part of the U.S. government’s information campaign about combating human trafficking and modern-day enslavement is #WearBlueDay, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security.

On Wednesday, January 11, Louisianians will have the opportunity to support the campaign and efforts of the Department of Homeland Security and the Governor’s Office of Human Trafficking Prevention by wearing blue.

Take action by participating in #WEARBLUEDAY on January 11. It’s simple! Wear a blue article of clothing or pin a blue ribbon on your shirt or lapel.

Educate yourself and learn how to recognize the signs that someone you encounter is being trafficked.

Pray for those who are victims of human trafficking.

“Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:4
