Do you have a heart for prayer and encouragement? Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Oklahoma is seeking an Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Coordinator to lead a very meaningful ministry program.
What is the Encourage-A-Legislator Program?
The EAL Program is a prayer and encouragement ministry to our Oklahoma legislators during the 2027 legislative session. Each participant, called an Encourager, is assigned a legislator and commits to praying for that individual and sending postcards of encouragement throughout the legislative session.
The program is completely nonpartisan. Regardless of political party or ideology, our legislators need prayer. EAL communications do not address legislation, policy, or political issues—they simply let legislators know that someone is faithfully praying for them.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” — 1 Timothy 2:1-2
We Need an EAL Coordinator!
The EAL Coordinator oversees the program in Oklahoma by:
- Recruiting and communicating with Encouragers.
- Assigning legislators to participants.
- Preparing and mailing EAL packets with instructions, legislator information, and postcards.
- Sending regular reminders and assistance throughout the legislative session.
CWA provides the instructions, templates, resources, and support needed to administer the program.
