CWA of Iowa State Director Tamara Scott sent these letter to University of Iowa President Barbara J. Wilson, and Director of Athletics Beth Goetz demanding answers as to why the university is seemingly supporting the flaunting of federal and state law by allowing teams with male players in women’s teams to compete in local tournaments endangering the safety and privacy of Iowa college female athletes and those of other teams hosted.
